About

Parfums d'elmar

A lifelong passion,
turned into a Maison.

Fragrance has fascinated Elmar Métry since childhood. He could tell one perfume from another long before niche perfumery existed as we know it today, and the fascination never faded.

For more than twenty years he worked in Swiss private banking. In 2017 he left that world behind, committed everything he had to the idea, and founded Parfums d'Elmar in Birchwil near Zurich.

What he creates are not mass produced goods but pieces of art. The rarest ingredients in the world, held at a perfume oil concentration of 35 percent, finished by hand in heavy crystal flacons, and brought to life with perfumers such as Mark Buxton and Chris Maurice.

Made for everyone. Regardless of gender, of who you love, of the colour of your skin.
