(01) – The Flacon

Every name tells a story

The names of most creations are drawn from the Hawaiian language — a language of many vowels and a wonderfully melodic sound, which carries us into a dreamlike world where each wearer can embrace their own signature.

Every name holds a meaning, and that meaning appears twice: in the colour of the flacon, and in the scent itself. The colour is never decoration.

(02) – The Flacon

A jewl,
of its own.

At Parfums d'Elmar the vessel is part of the work. Heavy, hand polished glass in semi transparent colour, faceted to hold the light, closed by a solid gold plated Zamac cap. Every flacon is finished by hand in Italy.

The colour is never decoration. Each one carries the meaning of the name it holds, so that the bottle tells the same story as the fragrance inside: exotic opulence meeting Western complexity.

On the front sits the crest of the Métry family. It is the house logo, and it carries the same weight a name does: someone stands behind this.
